Our daughter became engaged to her Scottish partner today. He is a fine young man, and we are very happy for them both. It is three years today since they met in Inverness, Scotland. They came to Toowoomba last April, and plan to make their future home here. We had planned a BBQ for tomorrow night. I wonder if her partner and I will be dancing together like we were at the wedding we attended in Manchester last year. Better not, I suppose. I don't want to make our daughter jealous...

The long holiday weekend had been rather fruitful so far... I started my "winter" cleaning and threw away loads of stuff and also did much packing! There are still heaps of packing, dusting and cleaning to do!

Dinner last evening also left a lot of food, esp the meats - Boofy had chopped them into bits and is cooking them into porridge ;)

Have yet to on the TV set at all! But this was one good show we catch the other day... very befitting the holiday season.. "Merry Madagascar"

Boofy let me sleep in, and brought the car in for servicing himself. :) finally after a long launch ago, finally get to taste the kfc breakfast. It's pretty decent, just a tad salty. I'm still feeling sleepy, since staying up so late to get ready the xmas presents. ;)
